WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
The goal of the HKIS 2025 Chinese Studies and World Languages Conference is to provide an effective platform for language teachers to learn and share new ideas and best practices. The theme of the 2025 Conference is "Pathways to Globalism". Participants will be able to get inspiration from internationally renowned experts as well as learn practical strategies from their regional peers through various breakout sessions. This year, the conference will include a Pre-Conference Workshop focused on building the capacity of program leadership as well as implementation of best practices to support language learning. The Pre-Conference workshop will be facilitated by Paul Sandrock and Ying Jin.
- Thursday, September 18: Empower educators to lead change by shaping a shared vision and influencing department focus. Build a robust support network.
- Friday, September 19: Implement Best Practices to Effectively Support All Language Learners.
