WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
The goal of the HKIS 2025 Chinese Studies and World Languages Conference is to provide an effective platform for language teachers to learn and share new ideas and best practices. The theme of the 2025 Conference is "Pathways to Globalism". Participants will be able to get inspiration from internationally renowned experts as well as learn practical strategies from their regional peers through various breakout sessions. This year, the conference will include a Pre-Conference Workshop focused on building the capacity of program leadership as well as implementation of best practices to support language learning. The Main Conference will feature
- Two renowned experts, Paul Sandrock and Jin Ying, to facilitate the opening and closing keynotes
- Breakout sessions presented by language practitioners in the region
- Break Chats: During the day, we will also collect topics of interest from participants for discussion facilitated by designated facilitators

In the meantime, please do not register until you receive the acceptance notification as a presenter or joint presenter by August 20, 2025.
