We encourage you to submit this form early, and have ample time to complete and review the full Black Kite Program application by the deadline of November 1, 2026.

Program Introduction

The Black Kite Program is a means-tested scholarship, granted each year to a student in Hong Kong who meets the academic criteria of Hong Kong International School (HKIS), and shows potential to both experience transformative growth and contribute positively to the School, but whose background precludes them on financial grounds from accessing and sustaining an education at HKIS.

If awarded, Black Kite Program support is guaranteed to the student for six years of education at HKIS until graduation, and covers full tuition plus all associated fees, costs, and expenses.

Students enrolled in Primary 6 at a local Hong Kong school during the 2026-2027 academic year are eligible to apply for the Black Kite Scholarship Program and admission to Grade 7 at HKIS for 2027-2028.
